Before fitting tyres Colin was in the Army, in The Royal Artillery.
One day he came to Nortons Tyres for a tyre for his own vehicle and 24 years later he is still here!
Colin has proved his worth from his start as a Fitter and is now General Manager.
Colin oversees the day to day running of the Tyre Bay and our team of Tyre Fitters, both onsite at our HQ and fitting centre in Manchester and our mobile fitters.
He organises our Fleet of Mobile Tyre Fitters dealing with 24/7 mobile roadside callouts, throughout the North West UK, as well as ensuring all the Mobile Fitters are equipped with correct tools, tyres, valves, tubes etc
Colin also oversees the orders and stock.
A busy man as he may be also found assisting our Admin Team dealing with Requests for Quotes and Applications to Open New Trade and Credit Accounts.
Colin and his Team understand that when you have a roadside puncture or operate a business, you don't want to be left waiting roadside and that is why we ensure we have a huge range of tyres in stock at all times so you can get the tyre you need supplied and fitted as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
